Spring & Summer coming to Méribel

Despite the snow still falling in Méribel, the tulips are popping their heads up to herald Spring.

Our spring cleaning starts next month and the window boxes with their profusion of geraniums will adorn the balconies and garden. Then we will have the contrast of long lazy hot days and days of extreme sports, like river rafting, canyoning, rock climbing, mountain biking or golf, but in the mountains that’s a bit more energetic!

We will happily pass the time waiting and hoping next winter is as fantastic as this with great snow from December-April :-))

Magicial Méribel has fresh snow again

We are truly blessed by the ’snow god’ this season. A fresh snow fall and now cool bright sunshine. Perfect conditions on the pistes! Lifts open

in Les Trois Vallées until 28 April, so plenty of time to catch the best snow conditions in over 50 years.

Skiing last week was a dream! Lovely sunshine and still great snow,plus no crowds.Whizzing on lifts, with no skis stopping for even a second! See picuture of run from Courchevel to La Tania!

March & Easter Skiing will be superb

This season’s snow fall is the best in over 30 years in The Meribel Valley and Les Troius Vallées. With lifts open longer and warmer weather, don’t miss out on some great skiing, with rates lower than peak season both for the apartments and travel.

Try the special 0730 breakfast at sunrise on top of the mountain and be the 1st to ski down the freshly prepared ‘corderouy’ . The lift company open a lift over an hour before the rest if you pre-book.

You watch the sun light up Mnt Blanc and the other peaks as you dine! What a great way to start a perfect day in paradise!

Half term gets off to a great start.

The half term week has got off to a good start. Great snow, sunshjne and no hassles with the roads/snow for the arrivals.

Piste in the Méribel Valley good and only small queues at the lifts. Try and avoid The Chaudanne between 0915 - 0945 .

For those wanting to avoid school holidays , I have some weeks in March available.

And the wonderful snow just keeps on coming! What a fantastic ski & boarding season it is. It doesn’t get any better than fresh snow & clear blue skies,and stopping for a hot chocolate in a mountain restaurant.
